Scott M. Brownell is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator. Before retiring from the bench he served as a Circuit Judge for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit for 30 years. Prior to election to the bench he limited his practice to commercial litigation. 

Scott is married to Barbara, they have two children and 4 grandchildren.
